Four Cheese Spicy Korean Pizza

Pizza lovers beware, this Pizza recipe may just change the way you make pizzas for ever! 

Elevate home made Pizza's with our award-winning Korean sauce, delicious gooey cheese, sweet and spicy Korean sauce with fresh veggies, vibrant spring onions and coriander - this Pizza recipe is a game changer!

Ingredients for the dough :

    •   Chefs larder Pizza dough mix 1.2kg (Available from Macro)

    •   Warm water 750ml

    •   Extra 00 Grade super fine Pizza flour for dusting
         This helps prevent the dough from sticking to the pizza peel)

Ingredients for the topping :

    •   Passata

    •  Base cheese (Mozzarella and mild cheddar mix 80%/20%)

    •  Thinly sliced mushroom

    •  Tinned sweetcorn drained

    •  Red peppers

    •  Buffalo mozzarella

    •  Extra mature cheddar

    •  Spring onions

    •  Taishons Korean Sauce

    •  Optional coriander to finish

NOTE: There is no set rule here, and feel free to experiment with other toppings such as pepperoni, cooked chicken or even left over taco mince from our taco recipe!

METHOD The Dough – (makes 6 x 12-14" inch pizzas) :

    •   Weigh 1.2kg of pizza base mix and add straight in 750ml of warm water.

    •   Place into a food mixer with a dough hook and mix for 2 minutes on a low and slow setting.

    •   Then up the speed to a medium churn for a further 4 minutes.

    •   Lightly dust with 00 flour the pizza peel and  turn out the dough.

    •   Knead the dough by hand for a further minute then roll into a sausage shape and divide in to 6 portions (NOTE the video shows half the quantity)

    •   Shape into balls and place into a proofing container, or in a deep baking tray with a clean wet tea towel over the top

    •   Let the dough rise (this will take about 2 hours)

METHOD The Topping – (makes 6 x 12-14" inch pizzas) :

    •   Pour a couple of tablespoons of passata into the centre of the dough and using the back a spoon spread around the pizza base.

    •   Add a generous scatter of the base cheese mix then start to build up the pizza to your liking using the other fresh ingredients.

    •   Before placing into the oven finish the pizza with a generous drizzle of Taishons sauce.

    •   Place in the oven rotating as you cook. Once cooked through, ensuring the base is not soggy, remove the pizza, then top with a further drizzle of sauce and a sprinkle of extra coriander or spring onions for freshness.

(Using the Gozney Arc XL these pizzas take approximately 2-3 minutes to cook at 350 degrees celcius).
